Morrocan Christian convert from Islam. Grew up in a conservative Muslim family. His father was an Imam and Rachid memorized 1/6 of Koran by age 6. At 19 he began to study the difference between Islam and Christianity in an effort to strengthen Islam but found Christ instead. Now he hosts a weekly live call-in show on Al hayat TV where he compares Islam and Christianity as well as debates Islamic scholars. Brother Rachid spoke at The Bridge 2016 to encourage better understanding Muslim people and gave a call for us as Christians to not view them as a distant “others” but as family.
